David Martin recognizes that the Circuit Clerk’s Office is the front door between the community and the court system and he wants to make sure that door is wide open to the public. He is running for re-election because he wants to continue making the office more modern, efficient, and transparent. By providing more transparency and innovation, he is improving citizens’ access to the justice system and the court documents this office maintains.

David brings years of experience, knowledge, and training in both the private and public sectors to the job as Circuit Clerk. As the former city administrator in the City of Union, a previously elected city and county official, and a businessman with years of experience managing people and business operations, David brings professional management and leadership skills that make him uniquely qualified to serve as Boone County Circuit Clerk.
